Kent Removals
About us

The county firm, not the town one.

We cover the whole of Kent rather than one corner of it — and we are equally clear about when a town specialist would serve you better.

What we do

House and flat removals, man-and-van work, office and commercial moves, long-distance and nationwide relocations, packing, storage, and the Kent end of moves heading into Europe. Across every district: west Kent, the Thames corridor, the Medway towns, Maidstone and mid Kent, the Weald, east Kent and the coast.

Why county-wide

Because a lot of Kent moves do not sit inside one town. Sevenoaks to Whitstable. Medway to the Weald. Ashford to somewhere past London entirely. A firm anchored to a single town treats those as an away fixture and prices them accordingly.

It also means we see the whole range of Kent property rather than one slice of it — oasts and farmhouses, Georgian townhouses, naval-era terraces, seafront conversions, new-build estates along the M20. That variety is the county's defining feature and it is the reason "what does the approach look like" is our first question rather than "how many bedrooms".

How we work

Survey before quoting — video for most moves, in person for rural and period property where the lane and the staircase matter as much as the contents. Protection down at both ends before anything is carried. A written figure with what it covers and what would change it, before you commit.

When somebody else is the better answer

This is the part most removals firms leave out, so we will be direct about it.

Several Kent towns have their own dedicated firm in this network. For a short move entirely inside one of those towns, that firm will usually know your street better than we do, and we will say so rather than compete for it.

Individual European country routes are run by a sibling firm that holds the destination relationships — we do the Kent end and introduce you rather than building a duplicate service.

And we do not handle asbestos, which needs a licensed contractor.

What is left is where we are genuinely the right choice: moves that cross the county, moves that leave it, property the town firms see less often, and jobs that need storage and a long run arranged together.

Getting hold of us

The quote form is fastest — it asks the access questions we would otherwise ring you about. The contact page has the rest, and recurring questions are on the FAQ.

Planning a move in Kent?

Both addresses, roughly what is going, and how firm your date is. That is enough for us to survey it and put a figure in writing.
