Kent Removals
Coverage

Every district in Kent — and who knows it best.

We cover the whole county. We also tell you, plainly, where a town specialist in this same network will likely serve you better than we would. Both of those are true at once.

How the county splits

Not by council boundary — by the kind of property and the kind of access. A Wealden lane behaves the same whether it is in Tunbridge Wells borough or Ashford borough, and that is what actually decides how a move runs.

West Kent & the commuter belt

Sevenoaks · Tonbridge · Royal Tunbridge Wells · Westerham · Edenbridge

Period and Wealden property, oast conversions, and a lot of London-facing moves in both directions.

North Kent & the Thames corridor

Dartford · Gravesend · Swanscombe · Northfleet · Longfield

The A2 and M25 belt. New-build estates alongside older terraces, and the easiest access in the county.

The Medway towns

Chatham · Gillingham · Rochester · Strood · Rainham

Dense, historic and busy. Naval heritage housing, Victorian terraces and a large rental market.

Mid Kent & the county town

Maidstone · Aylesford · Bearsted · Headcorn · Staplehurst · Lenham

The administrative centre, the M20 corridor, and the villages spreading into the Weald behind it.

The Weald & the Garden of England

Cranbrook · Tenterden · Goudhurst · Biddenden · Hawkhurst

Oast houses, farmhouses, narrow lanes and long driveways. The part of Kent that decides which van we send.

East Kent & Canterbury

Canterbury · Ashford · Faversham · Sittingbourne · Whitstable

Cathedral city, university terms, market towns and the high-speed line to London.

The coast & the Channel

Dover · Folkestone · Margate · Ramsgate · Broadstairs · Deal · Hythe

The Gateway to Europe — and coastal property with steps, gradients and summer parking to plan around.

Where a town specialist is the better call

This network has dedicated firms for a number of Kent towns — among them Maidstone, Canterbury, the Medway towns, Dover, Folkestone, Tunbridge Wells, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Margate and Gravesend.

If your move is short and sits entirely inside one of those towns, that firm will usually know your street, its parking restrictions and its awkward staircases better than a county-wide operation does. We would rather tell you that than take the booking and be the second-best option.

Where we are the right choice: a move that crosses the county, a move leaving Kent altogether, a property type the local firm sees less often — an oast, a farm, a large period house — or a job that needs storage and a long-distance run arranged together on one booking.

Ask us either way. If we think somebody else is better placed, we will name them.

The county edges

We work up to the Sussex border in the south-west and into the south-east London fringe around Dartford and Bexley, where the DA postcodes blur the county line. Both of those edges have their own sites in the network, so if you are sitting right on the boundary it is worth asking rather than assuming.

Somewhere in Kent?

Both addresses, roughly what is going, and how firm your date is. That is enough for us to survey it and put a figure in writing.
